The Brief

As Canada’s largest retailer of sports equipment, goods, apparel and shoes, SportChek wanted to increase awareness of their lifestyle apparel and show customers that they’re more than just a place to buy quality sports gear.

We were tasked with designing a campaign that would not only highlight the the athleisure trend, but also appeal to millennials, a segment more interested in self then stuff.

Execution

Our team devised an on-and-off-platform solution that would leverage influencers’ Instagram followings, while simultaneously using the The Globe’s own robust distribution network. Each influencer contributed Instagram posts and blog entries that showcased how they incorporated sportswear into everyday wardrobes.
