The 2018 C2 conference returned to Montreal for its seventh year, blending commerce and creativity. Thousands of people descended on the city for the three-day event that brought together world-class speakers (Snoop Dogg included), collaborative workshops and interactive art installations.

The Globe Content Studio sent a team to participate, learn and network.

On Day 1, the Content Studio’s managing editor, Sean Stanleigh, hosted a panel discussion with Robert Elliott of Breakthrough Media, Heather Mann of Guardian North America, and Freya Williams from Futerra North America. They discussed innovative content creation and how to tell stories with purpose.  Here are a few photos from the session:

On Day 2, the Content Studio hosted an interactive workshop on ‘how to work with influencers in a way that is true to your brand,’ led by yours truly, our team’s social media strategist. The sessions brought together marketing experts and students, working through and developing real-world influencer strategies. Here is a look at the workshop:
